Oxford Nanopore Technologies has raised approximately £80 million (US $102.5 million) through a private placement, including a strategic investment of approximately £50 million (US$64 million) from life sciences investor Novo Holdings. The Company has developed a new generation of DNA/RNA sequencing technology. According to Oxford Nanopore, it is the only sequencing technology that offers real-time analysis (for rapid insights), in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, that can analyse native DNA or RNA and sequence any length of fragment to achieve short to ultra-long read lengths.
Wallbox, a leader in smart EV charging and energy management, announced a $45,000,000 investment, including $35,000,000 from lead investor Generac Power Systems (NYSE: GNRC). This strategic investment strengthens their partnership and aims to bolster Wallbox’s market position. Wallbox is a global technology company revolutionizing energy usage with advanced EV charging and energy management systems. Beyond charging, Wallbox empowers users to control consumption, save money, and live sustainably. Offering solutions for residential, semi-public, and public use in over 100 countries, Wallbox was founded in 2015 in Barcelona and now has offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Argo Blockchain has announced a private placement with an institutional investor, raising approximately £6.5 million (US$ 8.3 million). The Company will issue 57.8 million ordinary shares at £0.1125 each, along with warrants to purchase an additional 57.8 million shares at the same price, with a five-year exercise period. Argo focuses on large-scale cryptocurrency mining. With mining operations in Quebec and Texas, and offices in the US, Canada, and the UK, Argo's global, sustainable operations are predominantly powered by renewable energy. In 2021, Argo became the first climate positive cryptocurrency mining company, and a signatory to the Crypto Climate Accord.
